Listening WS2024/25

This course is aimed at improving the students’ ability to listen and understand information from a range of sources, contexts and varieties. Students will encounter news broadcasts, podium discussions, radio talk shows as well as a number of real-life listening situations where accuracy is paramount, such as when taking the minutes at a business meeting. Students will learn to gather information through taking notes, and they will solve problems using the information gained through careful listening while at the same time expanding their vocabulary.
